I have created a television series opening up the ugly subject of child sexual abuse and it's aftermath.
My new television talk show called "Voice Finder" will begin airing May 12th. I am opening up the ugly reality of child sexual abuse, it's tells and aftermath.
We can solve this problem cloaked in a silent shame, but we can't find a solution until we understand all the hidden twists. Renee Belinda Cooper, raised in a non-abusive family shares her years of abuse and decades of aftermath and healing to help families understand.
Here is my pilot show.
What do you think? How can I get better?

Voice Finder- Opening the Ugly Truth
Voice Finder a new show created and presented by Renee Belinda Cooper to help raise awareness and understanding of child sexual assault and it's aftermath.
The first taping has been done and will be submitted so for local airing on Comcast Cable.
Renee is breaking her silence and opening up this ugly truth to help solve this hidden problem. Today as it was 30 years ago one in three girls and one in eight boys are sexually assaulted. Usually by someone they know, someone their families have allowed around them.
We can solve this ugly problem, but not by turning away or pretending it is not a big deal. No! We need to understand the silence and the shame. We need to untie things most parents don't see or understand. Parents need to tap into their children and talk. Get and stay connected especially on subjects that another may push.
I will do my best to show what is not seen. Maybe when we understand and talk we can find even more solutions.
Like Martin Luther King, Jr "I have a dream." A dream o freedom. A dream that every child in the world can grow up abuse free. I have a dream. A dream of for a kinder future with less abused people. Today, I am planting the seed of hope. I am watering with my tears of frustation. And nurishing it with open honesty and the ugly truth. You know, crap makes good soil for plants. So I am planting the idea, "we can solve this ugly problem."
My name is Renee Belinda Cooper. I am a recovering survivor of teen rape. I am in the last phases of healing and beginning to cleanse. I am trying to find the voice I could not as a child. We need to solve this problem, and maybe I can help.
